We are conveniently located just outside of Charlottesville, within a mile of the CHO Airport, providing easy access to explore the local area.

About the Lake House
Location
The Lake house sits on Adventure Farm, a 500 acre family farm in the Chisholm family since 1950. The setting is private, set in the woods with no close neighbors. Take in the beautiful view which overlooks a pond and the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will be conveniently located 7 miles north of Charlottesville, adjacent to the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport. Shopping is minutes away (groceries, liquor store, chain stores and restaurants). Points of interest are included in our guidebook. The area is rich with historical sites, natural experiences, great dining, wineries, breweries and entertainment.

The House
Built in 1978, the Lake house feels nostalgic and current. Outside there is a wrap around deck, expansive lawn, fire pit and charcoal grill. The inside is bathed in light. Wood floors, a vaulted living room and loft, provide a peaceful, modern and minimalist space. Original bathrooms lend period charm and ambiance. Traditional and antique decor makes the house cozy and warm. A washer, dryer, iron and ironing board provided for your convenience. Enjoy plenty of on-site parking and a garage.
The Wine Tasting Room
Located ½ mile from Chisholm Vineyards, wine tasting room with 100% estate grown wine and seasonal events
Stop by for a visit and a wine tasting. Seasonal events include live music and food trucks as well as other special events.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and entertaining your group. The space is open with an island between the kitchen and dining area. The table seats 6 comfortable and there are additional tables and chairs outside for al fresco dining.
